We are a small animal practice in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, first established in 1988. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care. For your added convenience, there’s free parking for clients at our surgeries.
Katy originally started working at Barry & Boverton Vets in 2004 as practice administrator. During this time she took a break of five years, where she became a manager for Waitrose. Katy joined the Petherton Vets team in 2021. When she isn’t in the practice, she can be found amongst the sheep on the farm she runs with her father. She has two cats, Bandit and Boo, and in her spare time is studying for a degree with the Open University.
Hayley joined our team as our receptionist in November 2019. Hayley manages bookings, general enquiries and insurance related matters. Hayley is always available for general advice or a general chat and has already proven to be an extremely popular member of the team with both clients and staff. Outside of work Hayley lives on an off-grid smallholding keeping a variety of poultry and livestock.
Ceri has a Grade 2 and 3 City and Guild Certificate in Dog Grooming and a City and Guild Cat Grooming Certificate. She has been grooming for over 20 years.
